AN INTRODUCTION TO THE SERVICE
Once your customer mailboxes are configured to relay emails to Aportio, there are a number of steps undertaken. Your end users email your current service desk email address as they do currently. Email requests or tickets are then redirected to Aportio where they are cleansed, categorized, a ticket is logged in your ITSM system and automations are triggered. This happens seamlessly from the users’ point of view.
Definitions
In this document, you will see reference to the following Key terminology in use:
System Provider = Aportio/InboxAgent/platform/”us”
Subscriber = Service provider/our tenant/our customer/”you”.
Delivery Partner = a shipping agent, outsourced repair service, or other intermediary who tasks may be delegated to.
Third Party Notifier = an alerting or notification system generating emails from an email address for, but not associated with the subscriber or End Customer.
End Customer = The Subscriber/Service Providers customer
